Inspiration

The Lord delights in me as I dwell in Him and seek to make Him Lord. His soverign power is at work in my life to allow what will move me to a closer relationship with Him.

He delights to see me learn to trust Him in difficult circumstances. he delights to see how I will turn to Him and to see how I will reveal Him always.

In the moments that seem difficult and I turn to Him, he is transforming me. He is beautifying me with His likeness, His nature being revealed.

So He is delighted to be revealed in my trust, in my actions and attitudes. And He gives the power to do that. He decided how I was made. he chose to create me the way He did. As circumstances of life cause me to rely on Him more and more He is creating me to be like Him. He delights in the gifts He has given me, the talents and abilities He has empowered me with.

He delights in seeing me develop the talents he has placed in me. As I work hard to learn, strengthen  and practice using the talents He gave me I am working to increase the investment He has made in me.

As I strive to hear the Spirit's voice and express God's presence and will in my world I am increasing the investment He made in me.
He delights in my work toward glorifying Him more.

So it could be a source of delight to Him to see how I handle an obstacle. If He believes the best of me, holds in His heart an image of me that is beautified by His presence then He is not placing circumstances before me to watch me fail. He sees what I might be capable of and sets a challenge before me so that the challenge will be  a source of joy to me as I overcome.

This is finding joy in everything.

The challenges to the goals and dreams God has placed in my heart are just ways to please my Lord, and ways to find the delight of accomplishing something difficult.

God made me. God delights in me and in how He is making me. God is sovereign and allows things to happen in my life. He believes I am able to trust Him for strength to get through the hardest times. He believes I can make it! He calls me an overcomer! So even challenges and trial become ways for me to delight Him. I can delight Him by trusting Him, by allowing Him to change me, by allowing Him to reveal Himself to the world around me always.
